Principal Designer / 3D Artist
Susana Marques is a Ryerson University graduate with a combined 18 years of work experience from working in several medium size architectural firms and, more recently, as an independent freelancer in the architectural and interior design field. Passionate about residential and small buildings, Susana has worked on projects ranging from small residential garages to large cottages, educational & community buildings.
She is driven by a philosophy that architecture does not end at the building envelope. Instead she believes in a holistic approach where the architecture concept seamlessly extends to the interiors and finishes; the interiors are never considered an afterthought, rather they are a part of the overall design concept.
Susana is a skilled 3D Artist, who takes great pride in finding the best graphic way to convey her architectural ideas to her clients. She keeps up to date with the latest software programs (Revit/AutoCAD/Sketchup) and rendering engines (Vray) to provide extremely realistic presentations.
In her free time, Susana likes to go to the nearest Archery Club and take some shots at the bullseye! She finds the focus required for this sport very therapeutic. Susana also likes to play her guitar or go for an occasional run on a nice sunny day.
